attended his first Indianapolis 500 in 1965 at the age of six. He has attended roughly half of the 500′s held since then. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and currently resides in Nashville. His passion is following and promoting the present-day Indy Car Series, along with the annual pilgrimage to the hallowed Brickyard each May. His appreciation for Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan; is as great as his admiration for Bill Vukovich and Rex Mays. George will comment on news, teams and drivers, and give a historical perspective of IndyCar racing and the Indianapolis 500.
was a childhood friend and college roommate of George Phillips at the University of Tennessee. While not an avid IndyCar fan (yet); he is no stranger to speed and excitement. In college he took up skydiving and motorcycle riding. Upon graduation, he entered the USAF and flew A-10′s and AWACS. He is currently living in Memphis, where he is a Captain for FedEx flying the A300. Bruce brings the perspective of the more casual fan. Bruce finally attended his first Indianapolis 500 in 2011.
is a professional graphic design manager and provides all photography for the site as well as writing, web design, content layout and handles all technical aspects of the site. Susan and George have been friends since their college days at the University of Tennessee. They were finally wed on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a corporate suite on May 18, 2012 – the night before Pole Day Qualifying. She has attended every Indianapolis 500 since 2004 along with every IndyCar race that took place in Nashville. Her knowledge for IndyCar racing is growing, along with her passion. Susan is instrumental in keeping George organized on race weekends.
is a native of Indianapolis, but moved to Tennessee at the age of thirteen. His family has an association with the Indianapolis 500 that dates back to 1913, when his grandfather served on the crew of the winning car driven by Jules Goux. He attended his first Indianapolis 500 in 1964 and has been a fan ever since. John shares his opinions of the IZOD IndyCar Series with George on the video blog of Oilpressure.com called One Take Only.
