He had a lot of nice pictures of his cats in his wallet (none of his grandsons or children). I guess that could be considered a “sport” memory since there was a Gun Show in the same facility (sorry cat lovers).

I was crazy about horses, we didn’t see a race but toured the track–I remember how small the jockey’s silks were and the famous flamingos in the infield. Sadly, I don’t remember much about my father since I only saw him a couple of times since I was eleven, but I do have that memory. I hope my son remembers our days of Indy when he is our age.
