I actually think that removing the fuel knob will actually help Dixon. He saves fuel with his foot rather than the knob.

I chose Franchitti as my pick for champion, not because of D.W.’s inane comment, but because he has the best team and he’s the most likely not to have blips like Briscoe had last year in Motegi.

I agree with you about Helio. He needs to be strong this year and perhaps the arrival of Will Power will light a fire under him.

D&R and KVRT look to be improved. Don’t discount Simona De Silvestro. She has the skills to pay da bills, and she may not show it in the HVM, but if she impresses, look for another team to pick her up. She is that good.

The problem with Foyt and Panther is one car versus multi-car operations. That isn’t going to work these days. The days of single car teams being competitive in motorsports are petty much over.

AA is going to be problematic this season. At some point this season-privately-Tony Kanaan and Ryan Hunter-Reay will wonder how they got themselves in this mess. That’s my point of view.

I hope that Andretti Autosport’s cold-weather test results at Barber Motorsports park weren’t indicative of this season’s performance from Tom Anderson, Tony Kanaan and Ryan Hunter-Reay. I would really like TK and Ryan to redeem themselves this season.

It is interesting that the outlined grid design at the sambodome resembles a D.W. I don’t like the backside of the grid- it looks too dangerous. (Could’nt they have done without the west wing?)

I am praying for the drivers safety because it looks scarrier than any track I have ever seen. Reminds me of -Scarey Spice-…..Then again, Helio could easily win this race. (Another mirror-ball trophy at the Sambadome would be nice for him. Would love to see Mell B. and the cast of Dancing with the Stars at the party -along with Helio’s new family, of course!)

Off topic again , but the sambadome was named for the dance, afterall.

Will Power could win this race but I think we will be surprised. The power of synergy and the arrogant spectator support in Brazil will make the next US-race look like a Boy-Scout competition.

This isn’t a popular notion, but it’s still one I happen to hold. I believe the lack of the fuel knob will severly hamper Dixons prospects for the championship.
