I really enjoyed the article and I will admit I am not an Indy fan. Having lived in Germany I did have the opportunity to see a race at the Nurnberg Ring, which was pretty exciting. The way you described your impressions really brought the expericence to life. So glad you have such a great family that they were able to “make a dream come true” and a lasting memory.

Only 125mph, that sucks, I go way faster in my sprint car on much shorter tracks. The Andretti driving school’s website says they can get you up to 180mph, but it costs about 5x as much (way more laps though). But then again it is Indy so I guess it’s cool, you get a one day Racer’s pass oilpressure dude, good job!

I was lucky enough to get a free ride near my home in the street leagal two seater…..It left me wonding about the practicality of building one…adn when I could manage getting a ride in a race-spec two seat at speed.
