Just saw that there will be no Will Power or Nelson Philippe for the rest of the weekend as they had a massive smash in practice.
From what I can gather NP has a fractured foot and Power has two fractured vertebrae... nasty accident!!

If I'm not careful I'll fall asleep....I would feel different about the race if I was there in person.

But you never know until the race is run, and that is why I'll watch because something special (good) might happen.

Nahhh... not a fan - dustbowl's unfortunately have the side effect of drafting dust and sand off the racing line, therefore creating a definitive line for everyone. The dust will actually be more off-putting than loose tyre marbles; not a fun race course.

I agree with virtually everything you've written here. Infineion is not my favourite track either. My understanding is that IndyCar races there to impress its sponsors-such as they are. It certainly isn't for the exciting racing. No series-IndyCar, Grand Am, ALMS, AMA-that runs on the road course is exciting at Infinieon. The only true racing excitement comes when the NHRA Full Throttle drag racing series uses the dragstrip.
