I agree it looks like a nice place. My decision to watch the live stream was vindicated when I saw Paul Tracy and Milka Duno running side-by-side for 1/3 of a lap. TK was running a little ahead and pulled off on the high-side of a turn and basically stopped so they could go by. High comedy! I don’t blame him with the year he has been having. No reason to be in the way of those two.

Having Milka in the race always adds the possibilty of something crazy happening. Throwing PT into the mix adds nicely to it.

Thanks for sharing the history of the place. I too prefer natural terrain road courses over street circuits, having grown up near the Glen. However, I must admit, Mid-Ohio has always been off my radar. Not sure why, just never seem to be home when they’re racing there. I have always wondered why people didn’t care for it, because the few times I have seen the race on TV, it seemed like a lovely facility.

I know that there has been talk that it might eventually be replaced by the Cleveland race, due to the proximity. However, I remember something about the track having a connection with Honda which has helped to keep it on the IRL schedule. Do you know what that connection it?
